The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 5 Premiere

When the times get tough, the tough go shopping.

Last season, Vicki’s love tank was empty. Vicki said that last year, she and Don fell out of love with each other. Then, Vicki had a breakthrough thought – Don has a love tank too! So Vicki has decided she wants Don to be her husband forever and has been working on their marriage. Shouldn’t Vicki have decided that, oh, when they got married? Vicki is also trying to be more thankful for Don. For example, she thanks him for not letting her be a lesbian.

Jeana is having money problems. She had asked to borrow some money from Vicki, but Vicki said no and they hadn’t talked since – until this episode of course. Jeana has put her house up for sale because she doesn’t 9,000 square feet, just 5,000. Old habits die-hard. Or, as she puts it, she is an old dog learning new tricks.

In past seasons it seemed like Tamra and Simon had one of the best marriages of the bunch, but now there is definitely quite a bit of tension. They get in a fight at their daughters party because of a vulgar comment someone made to Tamra. Talk about creating drama.

Last season Gretchen’s husband Jeff died. Now she revamping her life and of course that means a new man. She is dating Slade, someone who has already dated 2 other housewives – Jo and Laurie. Too soon to date Gretch? Personally, if my husband hadn’t been dead a year yet, I wouldn’t even consider dating. There are a lot of naked, sexual pictures of Gretchen online. Apparently that was her way of coping with Jeff’s death.

Lynne has become a cuff making working woman. She invites all the housewives to the St. Regis for dinner and to show off her cuffs. This is the first time all of them had been together in a while and since apparently there is someone everyone hates in this little group, of course drama ensues. All the fighting is pretty much between Gretchen and Tamra because Gretchen just makes Tamara’s skin crawl. Honestly, I could barely decifer what they were saying through the fast paced bitch talk.

Next week, Lynne decides to get a face lift. Her reason? Because she has to compete with the other housewives of course. Uh, mixed up much? It looks like one of Lynne’s teenage daughters goes with her to get some plastic surgery of her own done. Yeah, totally mixed up.   Watch The Full Episode Here
